Rasehlene Padernilla was one of the students of MBC’s 5-day Start Your Business Training in collaboration with CCT (2015). Rasehlene decided not to implement her first business idea, because she learned from the interview and evaluation that her business could not make a profit. The business plan evaluator suggested to pursue another business idea. One where she could actually make a profit, and use her skills and work experience.
One month after the business training and the evaluation of a new business plan, Rasehlene started offering meals. She makes grilled pork on the barbecue, chicken intestine (‘Isaw’), hot dog and more. Rose’s BBQ is one of the cleanest, most accessible and most affordable street food to go. Supplemented with rice, it serves as a good meal for the people of Barangay Poblacion, Malungon Province.
According to her business plan, Rose’s BBQ has a monthly profit of about Php 30,000.00. She is confident to make this happen using the business plan as her guideline. All the knowledge she learned from SYB training has been practically applied in running her business, with the help of a business coach.
