Report of the Generate Your Business Idea (GYB) training at CCT Angeles
On August 19, 2016, the MBC trainers arrived for training in CCT Angeles City, Pampanga at the Fresh Hope Building, New York St. Villasol Subdivision. It was a rainy Tuesday. Still, 19 participants came to the GYB Training from different areas of Angeles City to take the 2-day training.
CCT Angeles staff organized the training with the help of Rachelle Pawang, CCT Head Office Training Coordinator. They supported the students and the MBC trainers excellently through their hospitality: it felt like home.
Thinking out of the box
The participants were very active in every session and activity. One of the results of the GYB Training is discovering the most suitable business ideas for each individual. Each participant scanned his abilities, gifts and talents, the available resources and the market in the area. Many business ideas existed only in the minds of the participants, but each was challenged to develop in their workbook a top 3 potential business ideas that have a real chance of success.
The first batch, the GYB training for CCT, is done with this group of people in Angeles City. With the enthusiasm and motivation as a result of the training, many of them want to follow the 5-day Start Your Business training (SYB). The CCT staff fully supports this.
Together with the MBC, CCT wants to expand the Livelihood component, led by Alice Peneda, to help people better understand business and improve the position of new and existing entrepreneurs in business. Through a holistic approach to micro-finance and savings groups, together with the MBC’s business training, start-ups and healthy companies can make a positive impact in the families and communities.
